Dwarf Lake Iris
Nestled in moss and leaf litter
they peek out
pale blue,
periwinkle,
and yellow to brighten
springtime forest walks.

I write poems about, and take pictures of, my two favorite places--The Clearing, a folk school in Ellison Bay in Door County, Wisconsin & the island of Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles
Sweet poem, Barbara. What was happening in your life when you wrote this poem? Just curious... ;-)
